Job Shadowing: Samantha (Muleca)

In the frame­work of this project, one pro­fes­sion­al from the Por­tuguese organ­i­sa­tion Associação de Artis­tas Urbanos e de Transformação Social (AAUTS) went to Guatemala for an obser­va­tion peri­od of 12 days with the main aim of learn­ing and know­ing in situ the work­ing method­ol­o­gy, activ­i­ties and best prac­tices of Ini­cia­ti­va de Desar­rol­lo Educa­ti­vo Artís­ti­co y Social ONG (IDEAS), as well as pro­vid­ing and con­tribut­ing with her ideas and suggestions.

MAIN ACTIVITIES:
‑Work­ing process of IDEAS Guatemala;
‑Deep­er knowl­edge about Guatemala and its soci­etal needs;
‑Meet­ings and exchanges with local artists and groups.

MAIN ACQUIRED AND/OR IMPROVED COMPETENCES:
‑More knowl­edge on the sit­u­a­tion of Guatemala and the real­i­ty of local population;
‑Learn­ing new ways to imple­ment work­shops, activ­i­ties and cul­tur­al events;
‑Improve­ment of the abil­i­ty to speak Spanish.
